Let the reign begin!

It's time for a few changes around here.

Since releasing Feel Good, Girl, I've been busy learning all I can about organizations, initiatives and smart people who are also interested in empowering girls. Throughout this, I've discovered that one of my most powerful tools for reaching out is right here at Reign. (Whoooo!)

I like to refer to Reign as the place where moms can "chat, rant and freak-out in privacy" (and we do a lot of that here. don't we Mamas?). But, my #1 initiative for the 09 is to become a forum for the positive things that are happening in the culture. There are lots of smart people out there who have decided that our girls' well being is worth fighting for. Let's give them some love!

Be on the look out for interviews, give-aways, expert advice and other special features that will highlight the people who are making moves, fostering change, and doing everything in their power to usher in the reign of the girl child! (Yeah, that last line is a little corny. So? It's cool to be corny when you're excited!!!)
